Would it be wrong to sell a secret marinade recipe online or even bottle the marinade?
A guy I dated years ago gave me a recipe to his mom's secret steak marinade. He threatened that if I ever gave it to anyone he'd hurt me (I think he was serious too). I recently made it for friends and they all think I should have the marinade bottled or sell the recipe on ebay.
He's not my friend anymore, the relationship ended badly (him cheating and oweing me $10,000) and we haven't spoke since.
I don't see why everyone is saying don't do it!
He was an idiot and told you a recipe that is really good, they don't own a copyright on the stupid thing!
Honestly, I would just keep making it and enjoying it amongst you and your friends though. Why do you want to bring this ass back into your life? You know if you try to start up a company he is going to try to sue you or something, even if it doesn't have much merit.
Besides, don't you want to sell an awesome recipe that you came up with, not one that you got from someone else?
