Bandages that won't come off when you wash your hands?
Anyone know any bandages/band-aids that won't come off when you wash your hands?
I have tiny wounds on my palms, which means whenever I wash my hands, the band-aids would accidentally come off.
I've tried extra-strong band-aids, waterproof band-aids, they all come off whenever they get wet. I tried liquid bandages, but they peel off so easily that I'm a little dubious whether they'll stay or not if I wash my hands.
Any recommendations?
I like the nexcare bandaids. But if the wounds are on your palm them it might be the location that is making it hard for the bandaids to stick. The water could easily get on the pad of the bandaid and then seep to the sticky part when it gets pushed on (like a sponge releasing water when squeezed), so there is constant water on the bandaid. You may want to try to put some medical tape over the bandaid (as long as it covers it entirely). That way, hopefully no water gets on the pad of the bandaid. good luck
PS. Avoid alcohol based sanitzers, they break down the glue in the bandaid (along with alcohol itself)
